Fine field of Fieldfare

An absolutely gorgeous day here. Spring is definitely on its way. Was taking back route between 2 garden centres today and it took me past a recently drilled field. There must have been at least 100 Fieldfare on there, some looking resplendent in breeding plumage glistening in the sunshine. Sat for nearly an hour watching them. Wasn't til I got photos on computer I realised that there were also Linnet amongst them with their rosy pink flush just coming.
