Adventuring

With the Big 2 safely delivered to Scout Patrol Camp, I took the remainders adventuring.

First port of call was Godolphin House near Helston. We knew the house would be open today and MrRoly liked it as much as I do. The highlight for Lily and Red was this Mud Pie making station.

Next stop was Porthleven, again I have been before but not MrRoly. It was freezing! A biting cold wind blowing in off the sea. It didn't stop the children though and after playing in the beach we walked around the harbour and ended up at the play park.

Home for fish and chips at Penmere - we had them in bed (with a hastily rigged up DVD) by 6.20 and are now finishing off The Casual Vacancy with wine. Perfect!
