An Odd Occasion
Didn't get chance to Blip yesterday, so I'm back-blipping.
After an uneventful day, I went to meet my friend Emma from work in Bradford. We headed up to the brewery, which I've not had chance to visit until now. It's great. Friendly staff, good beer and a generous 'try before you buy' policy. So we enjoyed a couple of drinks and eyed up the pies, but decided it was a bit too early to eat. So we headed across town a bit later and got a curry at Omar's Balti (mushroom paneer, very good).
We then headed to Delius Art's Centre to see 'An Odd Occasion', a sort of interactive feminist performance art show. It was an odd occasion indeed, but a fun one. We drank wine, ate 'fanny cakes' and chatted with people.
Afterwards, we drank a bit more, then headed back to my house (where our husbands were listening to records, singing 'Daddy's Gone' by Glasvagas, which is becoming somewhat of a tradition when Em stays at mine. Sorry neighbours!
