Celebrating the New

The house warming for daughter numero tre went well last night - the transformation of a small dingy flat into a modern colour coordinated apartment was amazing and much admired.
While my daughter was still in Oman, the renovation work was overseen by her friend Caroline, who has exhibited a wonderful talent in juggling space, furnishings and contractors in equal measure. She should think of giving up the day job

With a dull grey start to this morning,I thought the wing of the new addition to the Scottish Museum looked particularly fine against a matching sky.
