International Women's Day

The Blue Mountains were awash with purple today as there were many events held to celebrate International Women's Day.

CCN and I decided to visit two photographic exhibitions held for women.  The first was a macro exhibition by a group of Blue Mountains Women called "Wild and Free".  It was an extraordinary display of works and we came away feeling quite inspired.  The other was held at the Women's Health Centre in Katoomba and we were delighted to see many friends we haven't seen for a long long time.  All in all it was a joyful day.
