Ring my bell

It's been a white out today.  The weirdest thing skiing along not really being able to see more than a metre or so in front of you.  People disappearing like they had been spirited away by aliens.  Thank goodness for bright orange poles showing the way.  

This weather cock and bell was outside a little hut where we stopped for hot chocolate.  I am not sure whether it is something to make an offering to the mountain gods or not but we gave it a good tug.
