Art from the Artisan

We are back at Lake Tarawera for a few days and I'm enjoying a daily swim out around the island in the bay with Tarawera Times whose husband Ian crafts (amongst other things) wonderful dishes and platters from used wine barrels. We had a short couple of hours sunshine this afternoon and it was caught beautifully by this lovely mobile sculpture that Ian has crafted from the bands that hold the aforementioned barrels together. It hangs in the pin oak that grows on the boundary between our homes.
