Pretty photo but bad news

Well.

I had a phone call today from my doctor to say that the mole i had removed 6 weeks ago has proved to be "deeply suspicious". He was very apologetic for bad news but says that it was quite thin and that they hoped they'd got it all and that the hospital would be in touch.

Actually quite blasé about it then but (i'm writing this on the 25th) but getting more concerned now. I know that, were it v serious, he would have got me in rather than called but still.... It seems i am not immortal after all.

The hospital have called today and we're trying to arrange an appointment in the next couple of weeks so we'll see.

I spent the afternoon with the dog on the beach (well covered up!).
