And yes a live (though sleeping) and very snuggly  koala wedged in the elbow of branches at the top of a VERY tall gum tree.
On  a walk through Brownhill Creek parkland we spotted four koalas snoozing at the top of very tall, slim and  swaying gumtrees.
How they hang on is indeed a mystery!
