Portencross Pier

The mood from yesterday carried over in to today, so I went to my "go to" place when I can't think of anywhere to go or indeed want to go anywhere - the Ayrshire coast. In particular, the area around Seamill and Portencross.

I wanted to capture something a bit more "intimate" if that makes any sense. Not easy when the wind is howling, the spray is all over the camera and at one point you end up waist deep in the water. Still drying out!

This isn't one of the more "intimate" shots, but I think it captures some of the wildness of the afternoon.

Oh, and the mood is gone for now. :-)
