Sunshine on Parker's Piece
Lovely morning - met up with Kirsten, Judith (6) and Andreas (3) at the Livingstones Café in town for coffee and a good play in their play area - stayed for lunch in the end too (since we eat an early lunch) and Matthew enjoyed his cheese toastie. On the way back to the bike we had a good little run on Parker's Piece in the sunshine and tried to catch some crows and splashed in some muddy puddles. Only fell asleep just before we got home so transferred up to the cot for his nap pretty easily - and we have a lovely bag of size 2-3 clothes that Andre has grown out of to enjoy too.
The plan for the afternoon was to go to the park but Matthew didn't want to get in the bike so we did some weeding and took his push along aeroplane out for a walk - all the way to the station to see the trains and back via the shop where we bought potatoes, a leek, a lemon, blueberry muffins, a frozen pizza and a small bar of chocolate. He's quite fun to go shopping with :)
We ordered a pizza for tea as fish pie wasn't going to be ready quickly enough and then it took half an hour longer than they said which was a bit frustrating - but Mike and Matthew enjoyed it and I had a piece too. Yum.
