Chisa and Puni

I went up to Sendai today to visit Chisa's parents. They don't speak much English and I have even less Japanese, but with Chisa's help, we managed. It is a shame though, not to be able to converse more easily - I do feel quite sad about that.

I got a great deal on the train fare though. Bullet trains are so expensive but with a special JR Pass that is being offered at the moment, I cut about £150 off the fare - and I can use it to get the airport at the end of the trip too.
