Days like today

I adore days like today - the weather changes, it gets a little warmer, it's a little brighter, the day is a little longer than yesterday and the whole summer stretches out in front of you. You can picture the picnics and pub lunches, you can almost taste the Shandy. Days like today make me feel happy. They make me momentarily forget the sadness that I carry around with me daily and they make me feel happy. Why can't everyday be a day like today?.....
