The Old Gaffer

This is a term for a boss or old man in the UK as here but these are real old Gaffers (Gaff rigged) boats that attend an annual festival in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight ever year

The dedication and effort that is put in to keep these vessels afloat is amazing

And they still race as well. This is a very social event with live bands etc but I seemed to spend too much time amongst the real ales!
