Singapore!

The best just got better and today, although sad to leave our lovely ship behind we transferred to Singapore. This is the most beautiful island, green, lush and very very hot! Plants and shrubs look so healthy thanks to their lovely climate but everything is enhanced by the lack of litter, graffiti and air of effeciancy. We have done 2 bus tours, river taxi and the famous Singapore Flyer, oh so like the London Eye.
Merlion, the famous water fountain statue was impressive especially from the waterside. This is an island of sensible roads and calm traffic, helpful people where nothing is too much trouble, fantastic architecture and a positive outlook.
We are staying for 3 days at the famous Raffles, it's all I ever expected it to be and so much more. The Singapore Sling is lined up for tomorrow together with some shopping. We will be filing for bankruptcy Monday!
