Victoria Hall Radstock

Built in 1866 as the Workings Men's Institute, additions and adaptions werte made to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897creating the recognisable layout of the main buildingas it exists today including a reading room, snooker and refreshment rooms on the ground floor and a meeting hall on the upper floor.

For the last 25 years it has also provided an administrative base for Norton Radstock Town Council who vacated the building in February this year.

Over the last 10 years the building has gradually fallen into disrepair and it is estitmated that £250,000 is required to bring the building back into a conditionthat would be suitable for on-going use. The hall is in the heart of the Radstock Conservation Area.
