Hill country.

The hills of Wairamarama are characterized  by outcrops of limestone rock and  rugged uneven shapes. Despite the extreme dry weather recently there is still some grazing for the stock as numbers were reduced early in the summer.  Walking,mustering,fencing,living,thinking out on these hills was a very rewarding life.
