Visitors

Our neighbors have a "mini farm" and these chickens have been faithful visitors.  We had a few days of heavy rain and the chicks stayed home for a few days.  After the rain I looked for them for a few days, but they didn't venture over.  Today I looked out and there they were.  The top picture shows the rooster giving a happy "Cock-a-doodle-doo".  It has been this rooster and three hens.  Today I just saw two hens.  My family had a mini farm when I was little, so I have really enjoyed the neighbors with all the animals, chickens, turkeys, ducks etc..  It was a beautiful, sunny day, but a bit cool.  Tomorrow I hope to see the other chicken.
