At a pinch
It's a bit of a stretch, but I'm going to tag this Flower Friday, on account it is a bit of a flower that just happens to have a bug on it.
This is the tiniest shield bug I've ever seen, and I don't kid myself that I've discovered a new species. I think it's a baby one, probably just hatched out. Such a delicate green.
I was actually inspired by Rainie when she did a flower with her extension tubes, and thought I'd have a go at the same. Couldn't possibly get the effect she did, so no idea how she did it. But this little chappie did come up rather well, because I was able to get so close.
If you go large you might just about be able see the eye facets. Depends on how good the enlargement is these days.
The flower is our seaside daisy. Flowers just about 12 months of the year, tough as old boots, and a flower head a smidge smaller than a law daisy.
More train adventures today. I had to take the car in for service, and they didn't have a loan car for me, so I coerced persuaded them into giving me a lift to Mitcham, and got the train from there to home.
The service place is nowhere near a train station unfortunately, so this afternoon, I am going to take the BUS, back down there; yes the BUS. It's the first time I've been on a bus in about 25 years I reckon. In fact I've never been on the bus from Belair.
Exciting times.
