Friends

The cat this morning was in her usual spot, by the window staring at the bird feeders. But it wasn't just birds she was gazing at today, there were three squirrels outside chasing each other around. One little red squirrel would run up to the edge of the window and touch noses with the cat through the glass and dash off. He did it again and again. Mogonagale would sit and wait for him to come back, which he did. This isn't the first time they have done this, I noticed them a different day as well. I wonder if they will make it a habit, like a morning greeting every day. I hope so, I want to get a good blip of them nose-to-nose.  I'm sad I couldn't get the picture of them both today, this isn't even the right squirrel in the back there clinging on to the feeder. Well I'll have to keep my camera handy at all times just in case. Besides, i think the squirrels are all living in the attic anyway, so they will come back to the feeders soon.
