Tufted Duck on Inverleith Pond.

I think its going to be a busy week.Its also very cold. The ride in was interestingly icy, and that was on the short route along the main, road. Glad I didn't take the back roads, they were really icy.

After a claustrophobic morning, I head down to Inverleith Park early to avoid the lunchtime rush of schoolkids for a brief visit before heading back to the office.

Moorhens and Coots were wandering around the wet garden. Seagulls and pigeons were roosting on the fences catching a quick forty winks.

Ducks and Swans bobbed about the pond. The tufted ducks looked really fluffed up, and this one looked particularly cold. Snow forecast tonight, so it may have to wait for a few days for warmer weather.

Ice gone for the commute home.
