Blip meet

Had a lovely blip meet today with blip friends ChrisA and IAE. nr Ullswater.   I had thought I'd chosen a fairly easy and flat walk but got it a bit wrong!    To get to the starting point we had to drive along a narrow road with a steep uphill with hair pin bends, gulp. I've only been that way once and that was a few years ago and forgot about the hair pin bends. 

The walk was around the base of Hallin Fell which I have actually been up in the past but will have to leave it for another day when I am fitter.  The views were lovely and all was well until we had to go up a very very steep section which didn't do me any favours :(  Anyhow the views along the way were absolutely fantastic.  The forecast was for rain at 1pm, but it didn't rain at all which was good, so all in all a good walk.  Am meeting up with them again on Saturday, hope they are still talking to me :):)
