View When Crossing The Bridge At S Bahn Tiergarten

My big dream is to live on a canal boat , be it narrow boat or broad beam 
This is not much of an option in Germany where living is just about permitted  but moving about on the waterways is forbidden For any French , Dutch or British  this must seem odd since living a mobile life upon the water is not deemed to be strange .So I show this to illustrate what the end result here is . The irony being one can have a motor home or a caravan .Strange world isn't it ?  Now I know why the Bridgewater Canal in Manchester has a 5 year waiting list ."freedom and near to some wonderful cafes " .One could almost say "Secret Gardens "
