A lonely cottage

Had to stop this evening and grab a couple of shots. On the A66 between Penrith and Keswick, lovely light. Then carried on to Whitehaven, staying in a hall that's supposedly one if the oldest buildings in Cumbria (c.1300) - beautiful old place with a roaring log fire, so I'm not complaining! Off to Sellafield tomorrow for meetings, so hopefully some nice views along the way...
