Derelict Details
I enjoyed joining in with “Wide Angle Wednesday” yesterday, I have just found out about “Derelict Thursday” so I thought I would take up that challenge today.
Thinking about where to go to get my blip I realised that I had a lot of choice in my area, something I had not thought about before as I don’t really take urban landscapes. So I took myself of to Burslem which has some really beautiful architecture, but sadly the council have neglected a lot of the buildings and many have become derelict even those that are listed buildings. This has one has a date of 1909 on the front and was being used by homeless people when it caught fire back in December, you can still see the beautiful details even in it’s sorry state.
I have been blipping for over a year now but have only just reached 365 as in the beginning I sometimes found it difficult to find something to blip, and didn’t want to stress out about it as I enjoy taking photographs. I find that this happens less and less as this blipping is becoming addictive !!
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to comment, star, favour, and follow my blips I really appreciate your thoughts on my images.
