A CHAPTER HAS CLOSED

and we are on our way.
 We drive down to Simon's Town listening to the news of  the devastating fires. At one stage all routes to Simon's Town are closed. Fortunately as we reach Muizenberg we hear that Ou  Kaapseweg is open. 
Gentle rain falls as we drive down towards Simon's Town.
Burning is part of the cycle of regeneration of the vynbos but we feel for the families who have lost their homes an all the animals who have either died or have been displaced,.
