Amelie persuaded my Mum to let her wear her new birthday jacket from them a week early. She was extremely pleased!

After we had dropped Amelie off at school we nipped back home to tidy up the absolute midden that we had left in our rush to get out the door, then walked up to the park and to pay the lady who looks after the hall the remaining balance for Amelie's party. We didn't stay at the park too long as the wind was really cold.

I ordered all the party food to be delivered next Thursday (Chris is away) and did our shop for next week too.

Lasagne for dinner. Isaac absolutely demolished it, which is unusual for him as he doesn't normally eat much at dinner. He said "Mmm yummy mummy!" After his first mouthful. It's hard not to absolutely jump for joy when you have fussy children and they eat something you make, you have to be cool about it or it will put them off!
