The day I burnt

The heatwave continues... Concentrated some more on my favourite mood, the italian subjunctive - all of them; present, past and imperfect. Then I met up with Alex for a little picnic in the park near her home. At her house, her mother (Jane) normally asked How are you doing? and I replied with I'm fine, I've got a sandwich already oh how we laughed

I burnt my back whilst in the park, but I had a white magnum so it wasn't too bad. Also a little tiny dog just appeared half way through our picnic, which we weren't expecting

Later on Ellie came over & we all went to Dunham Massey to watch Cathal in his sponsored race, bless him, dressed as a pirate. Afterwards Ellie & I went for dinner at Piccolino's in Hale, yum.
