World Book Day

It's World Book Day, which gives me the chance to ask what your favourite motoring book is?

After considering LJK Setright's 'Drive On!", P.J. O'Rourke's 'Driving Like Crazy, and Phil Llewellin's 'The Road To Muckle Flugga', I've settled on 'Bulgin', an anthology of the work of Russell Bulgin published posthumously after his tragically early death aged 44.

Russell had the knack of writing simply - deceptively so - and in a way that took you along with him. He was a marvellous writer and I still miss his monthly columns, even now.
