Grey Squirrel....

visited today and here he is on the top of my shed.    Very exciting as we don't have them in the garden very often.    They are frowned upon here in the North East and if you see them you are supposed to report them.  Lots of people have squirrel traps and when one is caught you have a phone number which you ring and they come and "deal with it"!!!  This is because they pass on a disease to the Red Squirrel which is diminishing rapidly.

It's very controversial, but I think nature should be left to sort itself out.  I'm just happy for any wildlife to visit my garden!!
