Monarch

This afternoon went to take a granddaughter of my friends out to teach her a few things about her new camera before she heads over seas. What a lovely afternoon we had . This Monarch had just crawled out of his chrysalis and was still flexing and drying his wings. Very beautiful and I liked this one where you an see all the detail of his legs clinging tenaciously to the plant. They really have such an awesome life cycle.
This was followed by a beautiful evening meal and then I went off to book club and that is why I am so late
