Finally Friday

This has been a long and a bit tiring week. I was working again from 8:00-18:00 and then I had to make a quick stop at the supermarket and the liquor store before closing time at 19:00. My mother-in-law helped me start dinner preparations while I was on my errands (what did people do before mobile phones? ...and no, my husband couldn't do it as usual because he's working late every day of this week) and then we had a lovely BBQ with a little bit of red wine.

The weather has been warm all day but very windy and here in Akureyri and Eyjafjörður there has been a lot of dust blowing in from the highlands, and everything - everywhere! - is covered in fine brown dust. Horrible... looks like we'll be cleaning until sometime next month... *sigh*
