Battered, broken, chewed - but beauty still there

The story of today perhaps. Another spate of eyeliner running experiences.

On a practical note: keep peacock feathers out of reach of cats.

On a life note: I'm not sure we only get as much challenge in life as we can deal with (and no more) but somehow most of us keep going anyway. I will endeavour to do the same and I will not give up on looking for the good in people despite an awful lot of evidence to make me want to do so. It might seem easier than the hope - despair/disappointment cycle, however I suspect it isn't.
