Dolly and the fire engine

My day started off badly when I woke up and discovered that my laryngitis had returned! Then, the M8 was closed off because of an accident and I had to take a diversion I'd never used before! Apparently the police were supposed to be setting up signs, but there were none so I just followed the cars infront and hopes they were going to the same place I was! Miraculously, I made it to work almost on time, only to be met with the fire alarm going off! The meant we had to wait outside until the fire brigade sorted it! Thankfully it was nothing big, just a small electrical thing, although there was a strong smell of smoke! The rest of the day was pretty run of mill, although with no voice it was quite draining! I think I'd have been better off in my bed! Up early for college, hope the roads are better in the morning!
