Sewing is not my strength

During Olivia's gymnastics lesson I used my time productively to do a bit of sewing as it has been piling up at home. I must have looked like a right Granny as most people read or are glued to their phones!
My kids put holes in the knees of their clothes on a weekly basis. In fact during the lesson Olivia came up to the window to show me a nice fresh hole in the knee of her leggings!
The above blip is of the skirt that Olivia is wearing for the Talent show on Friday but it is too big at the waist so I have attempted to take it in. The only person impressed with my sewing is Olivia, bless her, as she asked me tonight if I could teach her to sew and knit! I'm not sure I'm cut out for those tasks so may be a job for Grandma!
