National Distribution Centre (NDC)

I am very fortunate that in my job I have variety. Although I have installed IT into our shops for many years, until now I have not been involved in other parts of our business. However, I am now part of a team which also installs IT into other locations. Today I had the first of what will be many visits to a new NDC (National Distribution Centre). It is HUGE, I hope the picture conveys some of that scale, see if you can spot the people by the warehouse racking. Over the next couple of months we will be installing a large amount of PC's, printers and various other bits of kit. It will be interesting to see it gradually fill up and then begin to serve its purpose.
