Magic Carpet.

Blue skies and a magic carpet of crocuses – spring has surely come!    Trekked to Cliffe Castle today in the lovely sunshine  in the hopes of photographing a crocus clad curved avenue leading to the building’s main entrance, but was completely out of luck. The main entrance area looked more like a car park, including builders vans etc, etc.  while the entrance itself was clad with scaffolding.   The best laid plans…But the crocuses were beautiful, though perhaps not at their best just yet, and it was very wet and muddy underfoot.
