Abstract
Some fireworks to light up a somewhat dull six nations weekend.
Wales won, that is the first and foremost most important thing. It was a hugely impressive win in France, and the best performance of the six nations by them.
What it wasn't was exciting. Both games today were dull affairs. International rugby is all about defence and kicking penalties at the moment. No exactly a thrill a minute. This does not bode well for the World Cup later this year.
There's a week of next week and then we have Ireland at home, win that and we are still in the championship hunt. It will be a huge ask again...
