The Canal

Got up at 6am to try and get the sunrise, but unfortunately the roads and pavements were sheet ice, and after falling before I returned inside for a nice plate of porridge, toast and coffee. I then did shopping visited the care home and by then it was a beautiful day and I headed out for a lovely walk in the sun with my three little dogs. Took this photo on a different stretch of the canal with the snowy hills in the background.
