Herring Gull

This shiny white Herring Gull was one of a pair that were eyeing up the bird table. Unfortunately for them there wasn't anything for them it's all for the little birds. I even tie down the feeders as I've seen a crow fly off with a whole thing before! The photo isn't as sharp as I'd have liked as it's taken through the window.

Tinker's news - Poor thing is still at the vets, she's to stay there another night. They had to operate on her today to see if there was anything in particular causing the pancreatitis (there wasn't) They now have to try and control her vomiting with meds and once they have done that, then she can come home.
