Day at sea
Last full day at sea before we arrive at Singapore tomorrow and disembark Friday. I say this more for my benefit than anything else as I have just had to ask someone what day it is! Life on board today has been spent catching up with new friends, a great photography lecture on how to take photos of people. The lecturer, Tracy Fleming lives 15 miles away when she's back home - small world!
The sea is as calm as a mill pond and the temperature has dropped a few degrees although outside it is 30 degrees but with a cooling breeze. We've spent time watching the little fishing boats that pass by, the odd jelly fish, some flying fish (honestly,) and another glorious sunset.
Tonight we were dinner guests of our charismatic Cruise Director, Fernando, that's after the cocktails round the pool and before the entertainment! I have never heard anyone play a dulcimer before, in fact I'd be hard pressed to even describe one but the guest entertainer was Pingxin Xu whose playing of this instrument was exquisite (definitely worth googling!)
And so ends another day in paradise, must remember to put the clocks forward an hour, as if I wasn't confused enough!
