Icelandic Horses

Up early for the road trip to Vik.  The plan was to dodge the storm that was coming in and a good job we did as the road was closed after we'd left because of the weather.

We stopped on the way to Skogafoss to photograph the horses on the side of the road.  They were so friendly and of good temperament.  You could get in amongst them with care and they'd nuzzle you.

The afternoon trip to Skogafoss and Vik sea stacks was cut short because of the weather and we retired early to the hotel for our lectures.  The wind and snow blowing past at a great rate of knots.

Hopefully the storm is due to pass late afternoon and we can get out for sunset.
