left in a blizzard and arrived in a lovely sunny day with no snow. Had planned to see the SBEMH (the Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) after my dental appointment but the snow put paid to that. The Campbeltown bus was running over an hour late because of the road conditions on Kintyre and the whole day went a bit to pot after that.
