Ankle metalwork!

Back home from Raigmore hospital after successful surgery today to remove the plate and screws from my ankle, which have been there since ankle was broken almost two years ago.

The surgeon also found and repaired a tear in the tendon, which accounts for some of the problems I've been having! Because of the tendon repair I'm now in plaster, non-weightbearing and back on crutches for the bext two weeks, so it's turned into a bigger procedure than anticipated. Clearly a good call to ask for the metalwork to be removed as it allowed the underlying problem to be identified.

Lack of mobility may restrict blipping for a bit!
