Holmbury Hill

I needed today's walk as much as the dogs!  Fresh air to cleanse my mind.  

I have mixed feelings about the consequences of a community nurse's visit over the weekend.  Her first visit and the world is turned upside down, too quickly. 
I'm more than grateful for some of the intervention but, other things are being put in place before time. Deterioration has been more rapid than expected. Although my heart says she has a point, I see unnecessary fear in the eyes of a person who has so much to live for and wishes to remain in denial.

The palliate care team are now on board, which is a relief. Their touch is so much softer. I can start to step back now.
