The fool on the hill

barking up the wrong tree

I had a day off work today. Originally to go flying - but it was deemed too windy by Donald and myself.
Went to Westonburt Arboretum to 'capture the hues' instead. Lots of greens about which I hadn't expected. I've decided that I don't really do trees. Nice to look at and walk beneath but I can't take pictures of them.
Lots of togs walking around the place with tripods and camera bags and stuff - including packs of club types all pointing their cameras in the same direction at a sunlit maple or whatever. Why don't they just set up one camera and take it in turns at pressing the button? I find it a bit off-putting. I tend to look on photography as a more solitary pursuit.
