West bay

A lovely view this morning. Drank tea in bed looking out onto the garden. I love being in Dorset. Weather has been very hot today. I got a little sunburn. We played in the garden all morning. James found some huge slow worms in the compost bin when he put some banana skins in. He had great fun checking on them throughout the day. I had no idea they were so big. I actually thought they were grass snakes.

We went to Hive beach after lunch and stayed for the afternoon, playing in the sand and ice creams. The kids went to climb the hills for a while I had about 15 minutes all to myself.

A second dog friendly beach trip with Belle, she rode the waves and made us all laugh. Stopped at West Bay for tea fish and chips. The photo is of the harbour it's so pretty.

Only thing missing is Jon.
