Snow Day
I could have given you a beautiful horse in the snow shot.
I could have given you a goat stripping our neighbours plants shot.
Instead, I give you the council workman with the machine that clears the snow from the pavement. I use the term 'clear' loosely. All it seems to do is compact the snow. It certainly doesn't clear the path.
We woke this morning to a covering of snow and it was snowing pretty heavily up until lunchtime. Fortunately it then started to rain and the snow melted meaning that our journey to Stirling tonight was easy, unlike last night. Driving in a blizzard and snowy roads last night was not much fun. Tonight's hazard was three young deer leaping onto the road in front of us meaning we had to do an emergency stop. At least no animals, humans or cars were harmed.
Anyway, one of Daughter's dance teams got a first tonight so the school now has a dance trophy. The first one!
