Is it safe?

Don't be fooled by the crinkly eyes behind the mask. 

She looked in my mouth and then she started to gloat.
She said my teeth are OK, but my gums got to go.

I escaped with nothing worse than a scale and polish, the dental equivalent of a D&C, and an admonition to floss more rigorously in future. I celebrated with a GU Chocolate Mousse. And then I celebrated some more with another one.
