Boom! who fancies a shower!

I had intended to get a snowy landscape today, but alas by the end of work, the snow had gone, but the biting wind hadn't, venturing to the beach, i was absolutely freezing, i found it hard to handhold the telephoto lens and my fingers couldn't stay out in the wind for very long.
Although it was better than option 2 which was to go on the pier to get a wave near the end, i think my better judgement worked.
Then on the news tonight i hear a heatwave is on the way! double figures for temperatures , now there's a novelty! but i also remember that the forecasters haven't been very good at predicting the local weather lately!
